Cantabile is busy preparing for our spring concerts!
The majority of Cantabile members are Paul Laurence Dunbar High School alums and so we are thrilled to be performing for Dunbar’s spring choir concert. It will be special for our Music Director, Donna Bonner, to be back on her home turf. She retired as the head of Dunbar’s choral program in 2008.
Last week Cantabile was able to rehearse at Dunbar. What memories singing on this stage brought back!

Cantabile Vocal Ensemble just wrapped our holiday concerts. It has been a busy year for Cantabile and we were very excited to debut both our new uniforms and our first CD this week!

Cantabile has launched a 3o-day Kickstarter campaign to digitally master and produce our first CD. All of the tracks are recorded, so with your help we can have these CD’s ready for release in December 2014.

Cantabile had the honor of singing this morning at Faith Fellowship in Lexington, Kentucky for their Sunday morning service. Here are a couple of snapshots from our morning warm-up!
Cantabile Vocal Ensemble is excited to be performing our Summer Pops concert (the second concert in our yearly series) at Sayre Christian Village. While this concert is free and open to the public, we are excited to share with the residents of Sayre who may not otherwise be able to attend due to issues of transportation. We hope you’ll join us, too!
